University of Twente Scholarship


University Twente Scholarships (UTS) are scholarships for excellent students from both EU/EEA as well as non-EU/EEA countries, applying for a graduate programme (MSc) at the University of Twente.
Please note:
The UTS is not available for Dutch and/or current UT Bachelor students.

Google Ambassador Program 2013

The Google Student Ambassador Program is an opportunity for students to act as liaisons between Google and their universities. These ambassadors:
  • Learn about innovative Google products and programs
  • Plan and host fun events on campus
  • Act as a campus contact for Google teams
  • Help Google better understand each university’s culture
It’s that time of the year again, when students are selected from universities across Sub Saharan Africa (SSA) to be part of the Google Student Ambassador program. The second year of the program saw tremendous growth as it expanded from 6 to 12 countries, and grew from 28 to 97 universities with 160 Ambassadors within 1 year. Google Student Ambassadors (GSAs) are student leaders on campus whose mission is to use technology to make a difference, not only in their universities, but also in their communities more widely.

ELIGIBILITY: This program is open to students across different universities.

Interested students need to be in at least their 200 level but not final year.
Google is looking for students who are passionate about technology; the most technically savvy, forward thinking, and self motivated students.

PRIZE: Being a Google Campus Ambassador is an excellent learning platform. Among other things, students will receive invitations to participate in special Google events, they may learn and support in testing Google Products before launch, they will have the chance to build their professional network, and be considered for Internship opportunities at the local Google Office.

Total E & P Tetiary Institutions Scholarship Award Scheme


Over the years, Total Upstream Companies in Nigeria have demonstrated a high level of commitment towards the educational development of Nigerian Students. This commitment has been demonstrated in several ways, one of which is the annual award of scholarships to deserving Nigerian students in secondary and tertiary institutions as well as those in postgraduate studies. The programme is aimed at promoting academic excellence and qualitative manpower development in our host communities and the nation.

PTDF Local and Overseas Scholarship Scheme

2013/2014 PTDF SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME



The Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) is a parastatal of the Ministry of Petroleum Resources established by Decree 25 of 1973 for the purpose of developing and promoting petroleum technology and for creating the manpower needs of the oil and gas industry through research and training of Nigerians.

Our mission therefore is to train Nigerians to qualify as graduates, professionals, technicians and craftsmen in the field of engineering, geology, science and management in the oil and gas industry in Nigeria or abroad. We have a vision to serve not only as a vessel for the development of indigenous manpower and technology transfer/acquisition in the petroleum industry but also to make Nigeria a human resource centre for the West African sub-region.

To ensure a steadfast implementation of this mandate, PTDF is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates for Overseas MSc and PhD Scholarships. Scholarships will be awarded for studies in the 2013/2014 academic session in the United Kingdom and France (Grenoble INP) and upgraded Universities in Nigeria for the 2013/2014 session. However, the Undergraduate level will be awarded for studies in Nigeria only on subject areas listed below
